Lisa Lewis the salon owner and senior member of the team first started working in the industry when she was only 14 years of age, working around school she soon developed a love for hairdressing and barbering and generally making people look and feel great. when Lisa left school she immediately enrolled on a modern apprenticeship and found employment in a local salon back in Yorkshire called Robert Marx, where she was given fantastic training, support and opportunities to grow and develop her creativity and skills and worked for 6 years there before starting a family and became self employed.

Years later she moved to Brigg and continued her journey of self employment in a salon called Altered Image, on Ravendale street Scunthorpe for just short of 10 years, while there she further invested in yet more additional service courses like wet shave barbering, certain beauty treatments, St Tropez Tanning and later professional make up. Her time there came to an end and she discovered a fantastic opportunity to take over what is now Broads & Beards! (formally Karizma & Public hair).
